Like the face, the forehead shows clear aging signs, especially characterized by horizontal lines above the eyebrows and vertical ones between them. The fall of the entire eyebrow, especially the tail, creates a sad and tired look that can be corrected. The use of botulinum toxin paralyzes the muscles of those areas, reducing expression wrinkles. However, it should be reapplied every 4 to 6 months. With surgical treatment, we are able to maintain the result for a longer period of time, sometimes even permanently. This surgery can be done with video-endoscopy through 5 small incisions located on the scalp (1 cm each). It can be performed alone or in combination with blepharoplasty or face lifting.
Anesthesia is local and it is not necessary to stay overnight in the clinic.
