The reduction of volume of facial structures (skin, fat, muscle and bone) is a part of the aging process. The filling of some areas may restore the signals of youth, reducing grooves, thicken lips and facial contours (learn more). Various substances can be used for this purpose. Some are absorbed by the body over time (hyaluronic acid and poly-L-lactic), others are permanent (polymethyl methacrylate – PMMA and polytetrafluoroethylene – PTFE).

Substances from the body itself (fat, plasma rich in platelets) are also used. During the interview and clinical examination will be discussed the best indication for each case.
